“People often ask me if I enjoy one particular theme or subject matter and I always say that each and every painting I do possesses an element of fascination for me, things that I can personally relate to whether it be a portrait of a deceased pet, still life or even splashes of color on a blank canvas, they totally stimulate my creative cravings. My current project is acrylic on canvas and revolves around the concept of ego death, emotional resurrection and spiritual rebirth. The skull representing the naked truth which one has to face during a much needed emotional and spiritual transformation. The bright neon colors such sky blue, symbolizes emotional growth and speaking ones truth, red for physical strength and manifesting desires and pink, well haha that’s my clients favorite colour so that’s for her! All in all my art encapsulates the very essence of versatility, raw simplicity & truthful expression, which I feel everyone will be drawn to.

There’s something special about commissioning an artwork, a one-of-a-kind creation, and it’s not as daunting as you might think! Working from your photos as a reference, let me take you on a journey from first sketch to finished artwork, realizing your vision for your portrait.
BOOKING
I simply ask for half payment as a security before i start on the artwork.

SKETCH
When your booking comes around I’ll be in touch via email and whatsapp with the first sketch of your pup using your photos for reference. Working personally with me, the artist, I’ll get your feedback to make the portrait just the way you envisioned. When you are happy with the composition, the balance amount is due for the size and style of portrait ordered.

PRODUCTION
Then the magic begins as I paint or draw the details to create your finished masterpiece. For hand painted artworks the sketch is transferred onto canvas and I start painting, sending you progress photos along the way. For canvas print artworks, I add layers of details to the illustration to bring your pet to life in art.

All that’s left to do now is package your portrait up and send it to you to enjoy.
